RASPORED SATI - PREDMETNA NASTAVA
TJELESNA I ZDRAVSTVENA KULTURA - RASPORED
Usmeni dio ispita sastojat će se od pitanja po lekcijama (types of sports, the Olympic Games - 5 simple sentences, Mike's photos from Australia, the Wilsons, rooms in the house.
Good luck!
On 12th September we went to Slavonia and stayed there for five days. We went there for a school excursion with our teachers. We travelled by bus. We stayed at Hotel Termia in Bizovac. We saw a lot of interesting things.
First, we went to Smiljan and we learned a lot of things about the Croatian scientist Nikola Tesla. He was famous for numerous inventions in the field of electricity.
Then we went to Vukovar where we visited the hospital and the Ovčara memorial centre as well as the war victims’ graveyard. This was very sad and stressful.
After this painful experience, we visited the Croatian furthest eastern city of Ilok where we saw the Ilok vine cellars. In the evening, we went to rainy Vinkovci and saw their library.
The third day in our itinerary was reserved for the Đakovo Cathedral made of eight million bricks, and the ZOO Bizik in Našice. We held snakes in our hands and around our necks.
The following day was very interesting because we visited Valpovo, an etno-village and the city of Osijek which was our favourite destination probably because of our guide who made history a series of funny stories.
The last day, on our way home, we stopped in Slavonski Brod where we went sightseeing on the Brod Fortress. Our guides were actors who made little historical plays.
The best part of the excursion were the evenings which we spent in the disco and the swimming pools. The DJ played great music. During the nights some of us slept, some didn’t. The ones who didn’t had quiet after-parties. The teachers were caring.
We wish it lasted longer because we had the time of our lives. The teachers weren’t strict with us because we respected our deals and arrangements.
Dear students,
Maybe you have noticed that ALL four of your regular English teachers have been missing from school from Thursday 19th Apr onwards and that you were taught by substitute teachers...
Nope, we weren't abducted by aliens (as you have probably hoped...)
But, the four of us, Ms Vrančić, Ms Kujundžić, Ms Tudor and Ms Jukić, went to Opatija to attend the 20th HUPE (Croatian Association of Teachers of English) conference in Opatija.
Actually, we didn't want to go, but our Headmaster insisted, so...
We attended loads of workshops, talks and plenaries and got new ideas for teaching. So, beware! We are coming back with new exercises and methods, new books and CDs that you will surely enjoy and we hope that you will be as ecstatic and enthusiastic just as we are.
It's Sunday afternoon, and we have just arrived home and we are looking forward to show you all the stuff that we have learnt and brought.
Due to the bad weather conditions we couldn't enjoy coffee in the Opatija sun (in fact, this is quite unfortunate for you).
Best regards from your English teachers !
